Please note that PTO accrual will be suspended after December 31, 2019 and will resume on January 9, 2020. Your 2020 balances will not be updated during this period. This is to allow you to submit your hours and apply towards your 2019 PTO balance.

Internal associates may carry over up to eighty (80) hours of accrued but unused PTO to the following year. All PTO hours that are taken and reported on the timesheet to payroll through Jan. 3, 2020 will count toward the 2019 PTO balance. Internal associates will lose any remaining balance above eighty (80) PTO hours after Jan. 3 (except for California internal associates). Those hours will not be carried over for the 2020 calendar year when the reset is automatically processed.

California internal associates have a different PTO carryover policy: Although California internal associates can carry over their entire balance at year end, there is an annual accrual cap. When a California internal associate’s PTO balance reaches the accrual cap, no further accruals will be credited until time is taken and the balance is below the cap.
